Green Tech South West is delighted to announce a new sponsor for our community in support of our upcoming hybrid (online and in-person) events. We were keen to hear more from Tom Locke (Creative Director) about their interest in Green Tech and sustainability and why they’re sponsoring our Green Tech South West community.
Noughts & Ones build sales-friendly Shopify stores for planet-friendly businesses. They’re a passionate team of friendly Shopify experts who dedicate their digital skills and creative flair to helping planet-conscious companies.
Can you tell us more about Noughts & Ones and the clients you work with?
Sure! Noughts & Ones is an e-commerce agency specialising in Shopify design & development for brands who know that they have a responsibility to make a positive impact, but still want to profit (with purpose).
Fundamentally, we’re all about making a meaningful difference together and using our expertise to make the world a better place. To enable this, we have build a framework that guides everything that we do – we call it Conscious Development™.
How important is it to you to work with planet-friendly businesses?
Whilst we strive to work with (and champion) brands that we believe in, we know that tackling climate change needs everyone to take action – so you don’t need to sell a sustainable product to work with us. We’re all about working with conscious businesses that want to sell their products in the right way for our planet, which is where we see the biggest opportunity for meaningful long-term impact.
How did Noughts & Ones find itself at the intersection of sustainability and technology?
The ‘position’ of Noughts & Ones as an agency has evolved authentically from the shared values of the incredible team members that have joined over the last few years.
Having those shared values naturally drew us to thrive on working with e-commerce brands that we all connected with. Right before the global pandemic, and its immense impact on e-commerce, we knew that we were in a unique position to make a meaningful difference through our expertise and the clients, tech partners and networks that we connect with.
We’re delighted that you’re sponsoring Green Tech South West, what was behind your decision?
Having attended a number of brilliant online events, we were really excited to see that Green Tech South West were looking for sponsorship to help get us all back together in-person! Conversation is key, so we want to do all that we can do to support events or organisations looking to connect like-minded people and discuss the challenges around climate change and digital sustainability.
Thank you Tom for the chat.
